This workshop is aimed at intermediates. We will cover special climbs, intermediate moves and drops. You need to be able to comfortably climb the silks and invert from the air repeatedly. You should be familiar with and comfortable to get in/out of all the base moves such as footlock (single and double), catchers/cross catchers and hiplock. If you are not sure whether you are ready for the intermediate level workshop just drop me an email.

How the class is structured
To allow us the full 1 ½ hour on equipment you will arrive 30 minutes early and do your own warm-up. We will start off with some conditioning on the equipment to get our body/mind used to the silks and wake up those muscles. We continue with looking at different climbs before moving on to drops while energy and strength are still high! To finish off the class we will look at some less taxing moves such as new ways into old positions and general technique.
What do I need to bring?
Ideally trousers that can be rolled up to allow for better grip when working on hox climbs/moves and rolled down to provide cover for drops
Wearing a body suit (leotard) underneath helps to prevent burns from the silks in particular from drops/slides
A bottle of water and maybe even some snacks for a quick energy boost when you feel yourself getting tired (nuts or similar)
Motivation and resistance to pain ;-)
